NEW TRINITY BAROQUE was founded in 1998 in London. Recognized as one of the leading early music ensembles in the USA as well as in our country, the group from the very beginning frequently collaborates with international soloists. Performing on the period instruments of the 17th and 18th centuries, the group performed in England, Finland, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Sweden and the United States, where they appeared at festivals such as the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, the Boston and Amherst Early Music Festivals, Sastamala Gregoriana festival in Finland, Baroque Music Days festival in Novi Sad, the Belgrade Early Music Festival, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, Varaždin Baroque Evenings as well as the Korkyra Baroque Festival in Croatia. The ensemble published 10 CDs - the last one, featuring sacred cantatas Membra Jesu Nostri by Dietrich Buxtehude, was published just last year. Most recently, they recorded baroque opera L’Orfeo (Monteverdi) with the soloists of the New Belgrade Opera, which received the Opera of the Year and the Best Concert awards by the Serbian Association of the Musical Artists, magazine Muzika Klasika and the critics.

Since he founded New Trinity Baroque, PREDRAG GOSTA has built a reputation as one of the leading early music specialists. His undergraduate and postgraduate studies Gosta finished at Trinity College of Music in London and Georgia State University in the USA, and currently he is undertaking doctoral research at the University of Oxford, England. He specialized historically informed performance with artists such as Evelyn Tubb, Michael Fields, Colin Tilney, Andrew Lawrence-King, James Johnstone, Anthony Rooley and others. Beside NTB, he is the artistic director of the New Belgrade Opera, the Makris Symphony Orchestra, the Belgrade Baroque Academy, and the Belgrade Early Music Festival. As a conductor, he collaborated with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, the Russian National Orchestra in Moscow, the National Philharmonic in Washington DC, Belgrade and Sofia Philharmonic, as well as with opera houses in Biel, Solothurn, Russe, Belgrade, etc. He recorded a dozen CDs and is the recipient of many awards.
